This classic Firebird Esprit was the real “driver’s car”.  Featuring a custom metallic red paint finish and a deluxe white interior, this machine was, and remains a truly reliable sports coupe. Only 18,000 ever built!

The 1970 Pontiac Firebird Esprit 350 featured a 350-cid V-8 engine, standard on the Esprit model. It came standard with a 3-speed automatic transmission and had a distinctive “Esprit” interior with oak grain applique, knitted vinyl seats, and a Firebird logoed shifter. The Esprit also included a deluxe interior package.

Engine and Performance:

• 350-cid V-8:

The 350-cid V-8 was a standard engine option on the Esprit, producing 255 horsepower.

• Automatic Transmission:

The car came with a 3-speed automatic transmission.

• Suspension:

The Firebird featured improved front suspension and steering, as well as a new multi-leaf rear spring.

Exterior:

• Endura Twin-Grille Nose: The 1970 Firebird had a bold, twin-grille nose design.
• Single Headlights: It featured a unique design with single headlights.
• Fastback Tail: The car had a fastback tail, adding to its sporty look.

Interior:

• Esprit Interior:

The Esprit models had a deluxe interior package with oak grain applique, knitted vinyl seats, and a Firebird logoed shifter.

• Bucket Seats:

The front seats were buckets, providing a more sporty and comfortable seating experience.

• Engine-Turned Dashboard (Trans Am):

The Trans Am model featured an engine-turned dashboard.
